I do not know why it took you 17 minutes to register.

Maybe you would like to share what parts of the process took you more time, so I can figure what can be improved.

Try testing it with a person who's never used the site, with a goal of finding & downloading a script.

You'll see it's not intuitive, responds slowly and has too many pages

I fumbled around for a long time trying to download my script, thinking I had registered when I hadn't 'completed' the process.

Thank you for your feedback.

I understand your comments but they are a bit vague.

It is hard for me to figure what is not intuitive given that I know the site very well and would have an hard time putting myself in the position of a person that just arrived to the site.

Can you give examples of things you find not intuitive, so I can understand what exactly you are talking about?

As for the registration, when you register the site displays on the page a message telling you that an e-mail message was sent to you with instructions to confirm your registration. Didn't you read that or wasn't it obvious enough?

As for site responding slowly, the only issue I am aware is related with the search page. It uses a very old search system that needs to be replaced. That will take time because there are other also important things in the to do queue. Please be patient.

Besides that I am not aware of any speed issues. Just let me know if you found other sections to be always slow for you.

Other than that, just let me know if you have other more specific improvement suggestions.
