Please, please please make the registration process easier and faster.

Let me fill out everything at the very beginning, do not redirect me 3 times, then ask for my country, redirect me 2 times more, ask me one more little detail... this is horrible.

Now, you are already registered, but there are a few improvements that will be done soon. Thank you for the feedback.

BTW, to access the JSClasses, you do not need to create a new account. Just use the same account of PHPClasses site.

You seem to know, so I'll ask you . I sign in, and check out some job that's available, and I get a message, that I can't apply to the job because I'm not a premium member? Is this correct or have I done something wrong?

I won't even get started on what I think about it if I have to pay to apply for a job.

I must be wrong in presuming that ? Right ?

Not exactly. When a company posts a job, they have the option to pay for the posting. If they pay the urgent job posting fee, the job is immediately available to all candidates that match the required skills.

However, the company has the option to post a job for free. Some companies are not sure if that works well for them, so that option is available so they can try posting a the job without the risk of paying for a job that may not have great interest for the available candidates.

When a company posts a job for free, the job is made available first to the site premium subscribers. That is one of the benefits of being a premium user.

In that case, free job postings also become available to other users for free but only in the last 7 days of the 30 during which the job is published. By then the job may already been taken by a premium user, but they really have to take some advantage for paying their subscriptions.

Anyway, premium subscriptions are quite inexpensive, only $5/month in average or even less $4/month if paid annually. If you really need a job, $5/month is nothing compared to the money you can make if you get the job.

Also the site publishes jobs that are result of research. I mean jobs that were found in the company sites or elsewhere after some reasearch effort. Those jobs are often for remote or telecommute work because there is a great demand for them in the PHP developers community.

Those jobs are reposted in the site after asking for permission to original poster. Researching, contacting the company, and reposting the job is a time consuming task. The site could not provide access to all those jobs for free when takes so much time and effort to get them.

I hope you understand.
